im talking about the ones on the out side of the rails not the back ones. im looking to lighten up the sled.

you dont need them but they dont weight that much,and then without them the hyfax will wear out faster,and you will have more friction in which will slow you down.

ok thanks for the info should. have you ever worked on a yamaha phazer/ do you know if you need the set of wheels in between the rails about in the middle?

without the wheels youll kill the hyfax. just run the wheels they dont weigh much if you want to lose weight look into plastic skis different pipes. youll save a ton of weight there

i would keep all the idler wheels to prevent drag on the track and save your hyfax's do you have metal wheels?if so you can just upgrade to the plastic wheel wich is lighter and i believe slydog has lightweight idler wheels also.
