what is a good way to keep them from getting all screwd up?

Screwed up by?

Stud impact?
You can get gaurds that protect them by hitting the track before the studs get to the heat exchangers.
You can drop the track further in the drop brackets (these suspensions bottom out after a certain distance, if that is before the studs contact your cooler then you are good to go)

how about shorter studs? any one ever thought about that! ive had to modify studs before to work on some tracks.
