seeing how i usually have like 10,000 questions for things i figured i would just start a post that i can go back to every time i have a question.

1. my handlebars move around quite a bit if i just have the sled sitting there i can move the handlebars around quite a bit, what do i do for this? new bushings or what?

2. how do i make my acceleration quicker, my friend has a 2000 xc 700 and his has much better acceleration, clutch work maybe? what kind of clutch should i get if thats the case?

any help that i can get would be awesome as i dont know much.

#2- You can accelerate quicker if you sell that machine and buy something faster. FB69.

^^^yes clutching will help out your exceleration also you can gear down but your top end will suffer.... as for the handle bars... they always move a lot!! you can check all the hyme joints, replace bushings, and there are a few add ons that reduce slop... such as a different steering bell crank...

hope that helps

what i mean by the bars moving alot is when im just sitting there still and i put my hand on the bar and move it the bars will shake back and forth...i can even do it up and down...i know its not something it should be doing, maybe i can get a video of it and show so everyone understands because i dont think im saying it very clearly

There should be some play in them, if you are not sure you can pull your airbox off and should be able to see the bottom of you steering shaft, have someone move the bars around and see if something looks wrong.
