^ Oh come on. You already got to see it.. the REAR of it . Want me to post a picture of the front of it so you know what it looks like?
I am ordering a new primary spring today from high performace engineering. I dont' even know if I would be ready by saturday. I don't think so, I have been up there 2 weekends in a row now, not cheap. Besides, I don't want to put my stock can back in to run the "stock" class. Would be fun to tear ass up that hill however!

^ oh you didn't need backing up TJ, I was just curious how you knew there was 12 inches.
Hell MDmaniac, we didn't have to tow you.. I guess you should have had your dad take the truck and trailer right out there to get you
I was thinking the same thing on Sunday, but I figured Brendan wouldn't want to risk putting his truck to the bottom of the reservoir

It was a heck of a trip for me and my friend Matt. By the way, it was his first ever time sledding in NY and he did an absolute awesome job all weekend. Friday night we traveled up towards Albany (220 miles) to do a full rebuild to the ski doo motor til 3 in the morning Saturday.
How about a shameless plug for INDY440 for staying up all crazy hours of the night and doing that professional quality crank job and full engine assembly, all for just a few bottles of some cheap PA beer...
Also, as far as the ice goes. When you see slush ontop of the ice, its normally because the ice has developed a crack, maybe from the weight of the snow or from the water level changing or just from the ice heaving (which it does on large bodies of water). Its like a hairline crack that water can come up through, mixing with snow and causing the slush. Its totally safe to ride through, stop on, pee in, etc...

This man knows what he's doing when it comes to rebuilding 2 strokes. You all saw how good that Renegade ran all Sunday. Only for a couple beers? A half a case of Lionshead is worth at least 2 full rebuilds. haha
I don't know if I want to listen to INDY about the ice. He's taken me over numerous ponds with an inch or less of ice on them But then again, we do both love some open water

That video was funny... haha... I put that end bearing on a little too far and didnt have the right puller to get it off so we had to improvise. That crank is ready for many more years of abuse now.
Normally I'd charge 200-300 dollars, depending on the motor and how good of a friend, to do an entire rebuild (top and bottom), plus parts. This is the second complete rebuild with crank bearings I've done for TJ... all for a few cases of Lions head...
haha
EDIT: Make that 3 motors, I forgot about the XLT (indy 500, XLT, and the renegade).

So...... no one wants to fess up to accusing me of causing ultraspx to go in the ditch, or apologize for falsely accusing me of being involved. Let's just talk about the ice and ignore the fact that ny_driver was falsely accused of causing a wreck that he was nowhere near, with pictures to show the scene and a caption to make me look stupid.
You guys are real cool. Thanks...and I sent ACM the videos so you all could see.

Hahah I prefer the bodies of water with less ice. It's probably good we do most of our watercrossing when it's summer
I didn't even think about that being the 3rd rebuild. That won't be happening anymore. I think I've finally got the confidence to tackle a full rebuild with a little over the phone help.
And yes Matt, Lionshead is liquid gold. Here's a picture of a bottle for those of you who have never seen it. You will not get a better beer than this at a price of $12 with tax for 24 bottles. I will bring some next time Boltzy, I promise haha

I keep coming back to this thread to see pics of the ride and read about it. Can you start a new topic in the "Who Cares" section with all this crap about who crashed and who's crying now. Your PO'd because you got what you think was "outed"....and you keep bitchin yourself. As for the drinking, a high percentage of riders have done it......but one needs to prepare themselves for the deluge afterward. Personally, I would have said something at the bar or restaurant....then gave you more grief on the site.

It's not a question of who may have yelled at me, because I don't really care. No one came up to me and asked me to take it easy or stop scaring them or anything.
The topic is the fact that I was nowhere near ultraspx when he crashed. And I am pissed off about the way Matt reported it. That's all. In post #8 he says he was told by someone that I was the cause of the accident......then a bit later he says that he witnessed the whole thing. I guarantee no-one else is going to say they saw me cause the accident, and I'm sure ultraspx is not going to say that either.
I am only mad that I was falsely accused of causing someone to crash. I thought I made that quite clear. you can obviously read
I can read just fine...I have a hard time reading between your tears......

So...... no one wants to fess up to accusing me of causing ultraspx to go in the ditch, or apologize for falsely accusing me of being involved. Let's just talk about the ice and ignore the fact that ny_driver was falsely accused of causing a wreck that he was nowhere near, with pictures to show the scene and a caption to make me look stupid.
You guys are real cool. Thanks...and I sent ACM the videos so you all could see.
Was not there, ultraspx hasnt been on yet. I am waiting to hear his side of the story. Also, it wasn't just him that yelled at you so I heard. The guy on the dragon?? Did he yell at you or something???
