After a little more use with this thing I think that it absolutely rocks. The phone works great, as does everything else. I've set up a couple of push email accounts. I have WebMessenger installed on it so I can add all my instant messaging accounts (MSN, Yahoo!, Google Talk, etc). I ordered a 2 GB micro SD card for it and I've even managed to figure out how to tether it to my laptop so I can use it as a modem. Rock and roll, I'm super connected now!

Now...if there was just a little mini version of Remote Desktop Connection and an SSH client that supports keys I'd be unstoppable.

there is a free ssh client, I've used it myself. http://xk72.com/midpssh/
It ain't the greatest, but it works.

I found an SSH client the other day. I'm experimenting more with tethering this thing to my laptop. In Duluth here with an EVDO connection I'm seeing download speeds averaging about 120 to 130 kb/s...about a megabit downstream. That's pretty impressive.

Eric glad you like the pearl ,What theme are you using on your screen in the pictures above. I finally figured out the gps allthough I am not sure I am going to pay the $9.99 a month to have it right now.The Blackberry maps works the same way I used them both in Regina last week was pretty slick.I am not sure whay but in Manitoba the maps will not give me gps driving instructions but it worked when i hit the sask border Going to have to call the MTS support line.

Bacon, that's the "bPhone" theme. It emulates the iPhone base theme. I too have figured out the GPS. The cellular company I use doesn't lock the GPS so I am not required to pay any additional monthly fee to use it. I have used the Blackberry maps and Google maps applications and both work excellent.

i have the same phone, except tmobile! The only reason i ended up getting a blackberry pearl is because my cousin works at tmobile, and got me a deal. Even though hes such a good salesman he ended up talking me into one spendy phone lol! But anyways, I love it!! Does yours happen to have the brickbreaker game on it?
