Looks like you guys had a good time A lot of our snow melted here today as it again hit near 40 degrees. Saw a whole lot of water running through a field near our house Oh well, we're under a winter storm watch Monday morning through Monday night Talking anywhere from 5 to 8 inches of snow I hope we get every darn bit of it If we do, I might be feeling pretty ill on Tuesday for my first day back to work Quote originally posted by pooxcsp500

Had a great time Sat. Some people didn't. One blown up sled and Madcow's adventure of carnage on his sled. Starting out in the morning. Madcow stuck. Repairing Madcows carb. Linkage from the throttle to the flatslide came off. Don't know what Pooxcsp500 is digging for. Ultrastud blown belt. Didn't do a very good pre trip inspection. He had no spare. Borrowed Madcows spare. Lunch stop in Finland. Madcow's sled. JDbikerider's spare sled after his 600 ate a mag piston. This is what the wheels Madcow had on his sled. Minor malfunction Madcows sled after he hit a tree on the LTV powerline. This tree has Madcow's name on it. About 50 feet away from Darkstars tree from 2 years ago. Had a great time until I was 20 miles north of Two harbors. Spindle snapped off of the axle. Had it hauled to my brother in laws place just west of Two harbors so I can put a new axle on this week. Nite life at the Knotted pines. Purepublicity and her group letting loose. I don't see no 50 year olds with no teeth in this group.

Rough road + a light weight axle + a tank (Yamaha) in the trailer = broken axle.

nice pics!! what a great time, we couldnt have had to much worse luck with the sleds, but i could spend all day on them lines!
if you look at the tree. that right there tells you how the sled reared up on me. my right ski was suppose to be stuck to the hill, not in the air hitting a tree.
you guys have some pics of me sidehilling and climbing. and others doing the same. post them so i can put them in my album!!!

Plenty of snow. Trails are getting thin in some corners but other than that they are fine.
Off trail is a blast.

You left right before the excitement. Close to fist and cuffs with some young punks that came in after closing. I'm sure you heard about it. One of your group was involved from what I understand.
I know we were all there still........ I had one girl by the throat....... That's the northwoods!

Looks like I missed a good time. I spent the day battling a gillizion sleds in the Rice Lake area up there for the vintage run and an ice fishing contest. Took 20 minutes just to get sled through Cloquet River Inn parking lot.

It was a great day of riding a few sled problems but no injurys. It was nice to ride [and B.S] with some of the guys I met at Haydays. We had two 12 year olds with us that had a great time. Madcow don't take any grief, that bark buster front end did it's job Grease

I want to see some pics of me sidehilling towards grease monkey or ultrastud. and a couple of me going over the top!

Madcow has a legitimate reason for the broken rear idler, he's only like...what...6 foot five and 265? Riding like a wildman might have some cause too. That sheetmetal spacer under the seat gives it away. But what is that seat doing being PINK?!!
P.S. You really need to stretch it out to 144", I think you'd find it less squirrly than a 121" and more easy to predict, particularly when pulling the power you're making.
You can piddle with the puppies, or run with the wolves...
Better living through chemistry.
