Last year i was hiking and i came across a B&S engine.(It is green, painted with spray paint, and for those of you who watch Trailer Park Boys, you'll all know what the Green Bast**d is, thats what i named the engine) looks to be out of a log spliter or something, i took it gonna and tore it down and got it running, surprisingly it started after cleaning it out. carb doesnt suck air though. Me and some friends were trying to think of something to do with it and we have planned to try and blow it up.

Since we're not using it, i thought of removing the head gasket and running it like that to see the difference in compression. I think it might bottom out on the plug and valves might hit the head. I was thinking of trying some random stuff with it before we ruin it. Give me some ideas.

We think to ruin it we're just going to take the oil out of the bottom and and run it and put some metal filings and small chuncks in the carb to try and damage the piston. Or make it run really lean and just wait till something fails..

I warned you this was adumb idea. but something i've always wanted to do...FUBAR an engine.

lol good luck tryin to fubar them, if its an older motor you cant smack valves, there off to the side of the head.

and those old " tiller" motors as B&S would call them are damn near indestructible so your going to work at it but gl in your attempts

im not here to make friends, hate me all you want im not leaving.

Without the head gasket you will have no way to hold the compression. There are a few things you can do:

If you can mill the head surface down somehow that will raise the compression
Add a little NOS (thats always a genuine idea) or Nitromethane if you can get your hands on some
Practice your porting skills
Just open up the throttle full bore and see how long it take to blow her up

Run it on methane or some nitrous or just see what it will run on.

NitroMethane can be bought at your local hobby shop. A briggs and stratton motor wont run on it, becuase it is almost like deisal

i say run it full bore, and then keep sprayin starting fluid in the carburator.. haha..

I just rememberd, I got one of them motors to!

what does bleach in the oil do? i heard mixing paint thinner in the gas does some good damage to!. I dont just want to seize it, something more destructive..

TBWdracula2003 yeah, i forgot how high the clearance was by the valves, its been a few months since i took it apart. lol

just got another idea i've always wanted to try with a motor..Hydrogen peroxide when its pure is a oxidizer, much like NOS. but it is hard to obtain over 33 percent pure hydrogen peroxide. So i was planning on trying to boil the stuff to evalorate the water in it..sounds like a bad idea but me and my buds are always up to that..

Nothing just makes stuff rust out faster. Buy some concentrated octane booster run it stright off that or make it forced induction.

I would try more constructive things. At least something you will learn from. Try running different types of gas. Try avgas to see what the lead will do to components, take it all apart before hand, run a tank or 2 of avgas through and tear it down to see what stuff looks like.

How about leaving the rod bolts loose? That could prove to be entertaining!

Throw it into a deep water and hydrolock it. They say 1.4 fluid ounces will hydrolock a motor, you should test that.

First of all, that's a great idea!

I would just drain the oil and if it has a governer crank it all the way up. It shouldn't be long after that.lol

I think you should practice your porting skills, maybe mill the head, and constructively blow it up. Maybe find a small turbo and rig it up. or better yet... Get a leaf blower (elecric or gas) and use it as a supercharger. haha

Are you talking about jetfuel, or the high octane gas. Running plane fuel will not do anything. It is just high octane parshally leaded fuel. I ran 110 octane in my inviter back when I had it, didnt run much different than regular.

I would try this. Go out, by a hydrogen bottle rocket ( can be bought from your local walmart for $35 ) and use the hydrogen converter. Then inject the hydrogen into your fuel tank and watch out.

Sounds like a good idea. at least then you can learn something and gain experience from it, then make sure to tape it as you blow it up.
