I just picked up a 97 mxz 440 fan for my wife. Seems like a nice sled with good suspension for her. Hopefully it was a good price... what do you think?
97'mxz 440 with 2480 original miles, new 6" carbides/hyfax, track looks new with 96 studs, mint condition with a new ski doo cover and new winshield bag. The tool kit is complete and came with 4 new ngk plugs and a new ski doo spare belt. Only has one scratch on the front lower portion of the hood.
Purchased for:$900

In the manual there are two pages for the 440 specs. One lists the mxz 440 with 440cc and the other lists a mxz440 with 443cc. Not sure which to go by. The top speed on speedo says 70-75mph at 7100 rpm. The manual for the 440cc says the max rpm should be 8000. Should I adjust the clutch for more rpm? The manual says you can adjust the high speed rpm by turning a screw.

Are these goos sleds? anything I should know to look for?

Thanks for your time!!!

If someone needs the answer down the road...the 443cc is the fan cooled 7100 max rpm and the 440cc is the liquid cooled 8000 max rpm.

Price seems to be great compared to others I see for sale and that have sold. Especially with the extras it came with.
