I once again made the pilgrimage to NH this past weekend. Took Monday off as I had a business meeting on Tuesday in Manchester, NH so it made for a nice three days of riding. I was initially planning to leave on Friday afternoon but it was snowing like crazy here in CT with next to no signs of letting up so I decided to shove off on Saturday around 4:30AM. We ended up with 9 inches of powder..took the XLT and the Blizz out for a few short little runs around the local park and yard in between other tasks around the house.
So Saturday arrives, I make the drive to NH in our new Chevy Tahoe with the 5.3ltr engine. Sweet ride, of course my old ride was nice too...(2003 Chevey Express Conversion van) just needed a change.

I arrived in Loudon at 8:15AM. Hung out for a while at my buds house and then loaded up and headed to Bethelehem. We rode from Bethlehem > Twin >into the Notch, visited The Basin, rode by Whales Tale Water Park before turning around. 77 miles for the day. A couple of pics for ya.' (not in any particuliar order)

Day two we headed out of Bethlehem with plans on making it to Pittsburg. My buddy and I aren't the best navigators in the world and we stop quite often for just about anything... be it to talk, take in the sights, adjust clothing, read signs...yeah, we read lots of signs! Any who...we zig-zagged our way up, over, and across the state until we eventually turned around at the trail-head sign behind Lopstick Lodge in Pittsburg. Not surehow we made it to Pitts exactly but I do remeber being on 104 E %N 7N 5 W %e...God it just goes on and on!!!LOL

The time now was 3:30pm! I did notice one casualty along the way though...I took out a big chunck of my right ski crossing one of the railroad tresles I would imagine Oh well ordered one this afternoon. It will be in on Friday. It took us 6.5 hours and 118 miles to get to Pitts and we still needed to go home!

We hopped on 5-South for what seemed like forever. Eventually hit 104 West which then felt like an eternity and took that back to the house. Arrived at the house at 10:00PM! 241 miles for the day! Overall trails were good. Averaged 45mph for the day. I never thought I'd say this but man was I happy to get off the sled! Here are a few pics from Sunday...again...not in any order.

Day three we loaded up and headed back south to Loudon. We parked at the Dog track and made tracks heading toward Alton. We stopped in a sand Pitt off of 106 and climbed and jumped some stock piles. Truly amazing what these machines can do as far as climbing vertically. What looks like would be difficult for the machine was...well...a non-event. I definetely wish I had taken some pics of that. We took it easy that day. Started riding at 1:00 or so and were done by 5:00. Trails were awesome Monday afternoon. We layed down the first set of tracks going through Gilmanton. 44 miles for the day. 50 mph on perfectly groomed trails under sunny skies!

A short vid of me coming off a really small rise.
All things tallied, 362 miles for the weekend. Heading to Maine next Thursday! Woooooooooo hoooo!

Here's a few pics form the trip and a short vid of me coming over a small rise.
