Well I just got back from the radar runs with my sled. Was at Minneola Marina in Fox lake Il.
With my 440 im upset it ran like crap, air conditions were bad and it got really warm and slushy near the start, spun for atlest the first 200 plus feet.Blah blah blah... Enough with the excuses!
Anyways I ran 94 flat in 1000ft
Beat alot of F7 and F8s ect.and everything else. not a bad day racing.
There were alot of really fast mod sleds there also. Good day all in all.
Fastest sled weny 137mph.

But still really pissed about how my sled ran. Should of got the there early and brought gears and clutching with me.
AChotrod.

Found out one reason my sled ran like crap. I forgot to change the timing and left it at -2 should have run it at 0 or +1. I lost a few Mph right there.

Its there. Just it was more like 750-800ft track instead of 1000ft. I would just coast up to the good ice and go. The first 200+ft was 2inches of slush. Plus my dumb ass forgot to change back the timing.
Anyone know what the current stock 440 1000ft record is?

I believe its 103mph, from a standing start, not rolling up to the line.

No. I would be at a standing start at 1000 ft starting line but would pretty much have to just roll up the first 200ft(800ft of track left) then hit it for the rest of the track. Speed track doesnt do so well on 2 inches of slush. Once it hit the good ice it was like a slingshot.
Not sure if ill get another shot at it this year though. Its 50 and raining :(
