I have the opportunity to buy one for $3500 it just blew the crank and has been fixed! It only has 1100 miles on it and is mint condition.

The question I have is since I dont want the 900 (for known reason) can I drop my 00'700 engine in the chassis? My 700 runs like a raped ape and only has 2500 miles on it.

Marriage is like playing cards,if you dont have a good partner you better have a good hand!!

Wives are like a deck of cards: You need a heart to love them;A diamond to woo them;A club to beat them; And a spade to bury the body!

Would be very very difficult. The 900 is tilted, kinda like the Cat laydowns.

i think you mean the crank, not cam since it is a 2 stroke. anyways, with modifications it will work but i think the shape of your 700 pipe will pose a good challenge among many other things such as motor mounts, electronics, ect. take a look at the inside of the rmk and see how compact it is compared to 00'.

Sorry, but I have to vote that it would be foolish to do that. Ride the 900 as is. That's got way more power than your 700 has. Make sure you have both SLP torque arms in there, make sure that the clutches are aligned, and make sure the other stuff you have to do has been done. Ride the 900 and laugh at all the people that say it is junk. Tell them you only paid $3,500 for it, and then kick their ass right up the nearest chute!

2005 Husqvarna Weed Whacker (It sucks to rewind the string, but that 31cc motor sure is torquey!)
