Just got my girlfriend into it this year, only took 3 years!lol
But she loves it now, she likes to just ride on the back, next year she will probably rid eher own.

My wife loves to ride. She races Cross Country but now I got her Knocked up so she can't race this year but maybe next year You gotta love it when your woman can keep up She is actually allot better rider then some of my friends, not as crazy mind you but better. If we were on comparable sleds I could get away from her but if she was on something faster then mine she could get around me

Well, my girlfriend rides, but the snow's got to be PERFECT...not too sticky, hard, or fluffy. She's pretty picky. However, she's prob. put on about 150 miles this year...mostly ditchbanging and driftbusting...my old Jag gets a pretty decent workout, and she's not a very big person (4'10", maybe a $1.10 or so) so the 440 fan has plenty of power for her...and to top it off, she's almost as fearless as I am. She's more fun to ride with than most of my buddies when I can get her out!

For me, the Wife don't like to ride. last time she was on a sled was 20 years ago when we were dating. wish she would try it again, the newer sleds ride much better. Then I would have a reason to buy her a new sled for me to use.

my g/f rides but she has to work 2nd shift on weekends and friday so its tough.her dad is a die hard acrtic cat guy and me being a polaris guy went better than exspected.I think he just loved the fact we have snowmobiling in common. But her dad bought her and her bro a 2003 z440.her bro rides his dads zr900 with us when its guys night so the 440 just stays at our house.its funny she raced my cousen on the 99 xcf 440 and the xcf was faster but she is just like her dad die hard cat and it has to be green , purple or oragne, cuzz she wants a f6 i am trying to talk her into a f7 that is ported pipes and reeds that i can get a screaming deal on but its the patriot edition so it doesnt seem to sit with her lol.i think i just want to ride it lol

My wife loves to ride, we just have to have a baby sitter to watch the kids so we can go together. She has been riding a 89 trail 488 for the last few years and kept saying that she liked my 98 xc700 better. But now I bought her a 97 Ultra 680 triple and she can keep up now. She would ride more than me if I could afford the gas.
She says that there is something about snowmobiles that turns her on!!!!
She also likes to hunt and fish, we went on a fishing trip for our honeymoon.
Do I have the right woman or what!

Mine sorta does she rides around on mine with me but she decides not to listen like most women and wont wear warm clothes needless to say she'll last about 2 miles before gettin cold and said i was going "too fast" last i recalled 25mph top speed was slllllllllooow but thats me. haha she said it would probably be different if she was riding her own. So i gotta a surprise for her im redoing an old cobra 440 with lots of power but she'll never see what its like because i would dare her to go fast haha we'll see if she still says she would ride her own next year tho. if not ill have myself one bad a$$ old cobra haha

My girl friend has her own sled but does not have it registered so its two up for me when she wants to go she has all the purple castle-x gear and open face helmet with googles. I tell you one thing don't take your girl friend on a 159 mile ride because I did and my whole upper body was sore the next day from steering!

Oh hell yea she does! My wife loves riding, I usually don't go without her. She's got a much nicer sled than me, 2003 ZL800 EFI to my '89 indy 500 classic and '91 Phazer II, but I love it. I'd rather have her on the nicer one anyways. She's had the sled longer than we've been together, and she rides just as hard as me. Couldn't ask for a better weekend hobby, I don't know what I'd do if my wife didn't ride!

Your girlfriend must not truly be your friend then as you are not willing to take her along with you doing the stuff that you love to do.
Yes at first you may need to dig her out and help her but after time she will learn how to handle the sled on her own.

Hello Everyone,
Just thought I would add my 2 cents here. I am a woman that LOVES to ride. I have been riding sleds since I could reach the handle bars... thank goodness my father wasn't in the mind set it is a "guys time"... When I was 17 I actually blew his sled going to fast (about 115) for about 15 miles... That was great but he was P*SSED!! I am now 29 and I have since gotten my husband into riding and his entire family.
I have a 96 XLT I love because it is a triple and nothing quite sounds the same... It is bored and piped to say the least. I still have the "old lady" windshield on it though as I get cold when we are in the U P (Michigan) on those cold, long days! I can ride with the best of'em and love to go as fast as my sled will let me. My Husband never has to worry if I can keep up....
To all the women out there riding... ROCK ON! For the men who think it is just "guy time" boy do you miss out having a woman you can enjoy your outdoor passion with!
Playing outdoors with your family creates the memories that last a lifetime!
