I met my girlfriend on a snowest forum ride. I have not gone a day snowmobiling without her this year. As you can see in the pics. She can keep up with us mountain riders just fine.

Oh ya, Steph also likes to ride bikes.

Well since so many guys have included their wives in this I might as well do so to. My wife is by no means an aggressive rider, but at least she goes when I ask her to. I usually follow her at the end of the group and I do get frustrated with her slow turns, but when she hits a straight away hold on shes on the gas. I don't mind following her though I would rather stare at her ass than let someone else do it. LOL When we go just the two of us I usually lead and she follows. I just have to slow my pace down a bit so she doesn't fall behind. I am sure riding abilities will improve with time and experience. I do have to agree with some her that there are some women who could out drive us all. I have a buddy who just went out to Wyoming and took his wife. She will high mark with the rest of them with no fear.

I would say if you have a gal that is willing to pose in her AC underwear, looks like she does and loves the sport. You are one lucky SOB! Been trying to get my wife to pose in a thong on one of my sleds. Said she would do it, but for my eyes only. I guess she doesn't want me to share.

I would have to agree. Its not the shorts, but what in them that drives men wild!

My girl like snowmobiling, she said in a couple years she wants me to buy her one. But, last year she put her mom's bf's sled in a ravine. But, she rode mine this year, and the most she did was slow down to go over my jump. I'll teach her, though.

One thing I have noticed by getting my wife involved in riding. When it comes time to buying parts for modifications and repairs they don't seem to mind spending the money especially if it's for their sled. Funny how that works ain't it. That is one thing about my wife, she has yet to chew on my ear this year about spending any amount on the sleds.

Girls that ride ROCK!!! I've met some great women that can ride just as hard as the men..when it comes to racing season(quad and sled) my boyfriend and I do it all together: racing sleds, doing shop work, practice..Thats OUR time together. We enjoy the outdoors and motorsports. But at the same time he goes hunting on his own and I do a lot of airbrushing and school stuff, training working out..He's taught me a lot, moreso than any other guy has..I never knew how to take a skid out and change my track or hyfax..but he's taught me. What such and such means..etc. I'm never scared to ask a stupid question and he always answers them for me. He has a great passion for the sport and life in general. And gives out 110% with everything he does. My dad has always been into sleds and I grew up with them, just how it is! I just raced my first cross-country race in February and fell in love with it even more!! I'm planning on modeling for the motorsport industry hopefully sometime soon, because too many girls that don't ride model for them...and they know nothing! Anyways, I agree with most of the people on this thread about riding with their other half...to me, there is nothing better! But to each their own, least your out riding!!

Achotrod-your woman is a hottie!!

No my g/f doesn't ride but that's ok with me. I love her and all but when I go riding and hunting that is my time and I enjoy that. Plus she would probably just bitch about being cold or something...she isn't a big fan of winter!

it was tight. this one time i put 89 octane instead of 87 and my sled went like 60 times faster and i could water skip because it went really fast. i recomend 89 or 91 to anyone.

I never woulda said that!!

back when I was 12 and my uncle had a BRAND new 02 edge 800, I asked if I could ride it.. he said if I could start it I could ride it... well, it took me and one of my cousins to start it (my uncle dosnt know that part..) but we got it rumblin so I took it out for a spin...had to crack it open out on the lake and decided it was to fast for me... LOL..

^^^^^ i agree toataly with her. snowmobiles are not for only guys. those of you who think that need to grow up! If you cant share your passion with your girlfriend why are you two going out? and besides for you guys who only go on guy trips. your missing out because when you are done riding for the day you dont get the special suprise at the end of the night! unless your man buddies give it to you. haha

I didn't see anyone say snowmobiling was just for guys.

Some of us choose not to "share our passion" because its our free time away.

Take this weekend for example. I was on a ride with 5 other guys. Nobody brought their women, if one did, he would have broken the written man rule of finding out if everyone is bringing their signif. other.

Nothing is wrong with going for a ride with your SO.. But IMO, SO's need to be left home for certain rides too. The guys that bring them along for EVERYTHING = Whipped.

Same goes for motorcycles. My buddy got a bike last year to ride with me. He has to bring his damn girlfriend every freaking time. It has gotten to the point that I don't call him to ride anymore. He is whipped beyond belief, its a joke.

Unwritten man rules are very important. Its like walking into a bathroom and using the urinal right next to a guy, you just don't do it.

I hate to say it but I agree.. every one I know leaves the gurls back at the house when we go on a ride..
