Sweet, yeah I watched the assalt vids, pretty sick sled forsure.
Well we pulled off the races yesterday. We are very happy with how we did. I placed second over all in the 700 class. Beaten only by a FX Nitro MTX 40th. They bumped up the top 3 700 class sleds to the 800 class. There I only won one, then lost two and was out for the day, but then dad started racing. They put his stock 07 attak in the 800 class. because the HP numbers were about the same. There he won his first race, then lost one, then started winning again, he won every thing from that point on, except he lost to a "stock" 800 rev. He was also second in his class so they bumped him up to the 900's. There he beat a 900 thunder cat, 05 900 rmk, and he also took care of that nitro MTX I lost to, the MTX had been winning every thing till then, and had worked his way up from the 700's to the 900 in the end. He wasn't very happy to be put out. lol But anyway, Dad ended up getting second in the 800, and 900 classes. Then after the 900's they had an open mod class. The guy who set up the races this year has an 06 APEX mountian, with a supercharger, he was pumping out 240HP, there weren't any other mod sled really, so the top three in the 900 class got to go against him, my dad included. They all lost. lol It was fun, no prizes, it was a fundraiser for the local club. I would say around 60 sled came out.
