Ok, why am I seeing more members with "team" affiliations? I mean, I guess I look at it like this. You watched a Slednecks video and thought, cool, I need to form a "team" to go shoot sweet videos and all that cool stuff with. And you know who you are... The fact is when you say your are in a snowmobile team, and then post a video, we expect something good. Not something my 10 year old cousins do on there sno-scoot. The point I'm trying to make is your "team" is what I call your friends, stop trying to be something your not and go enjoy a good ride. You are not a "team" until you are considered a professional rider and you are group with other professional riders. Sorry had to get that one off my chest.

Cause I don't give a rats about who took second or 12th for that matter your just the next loser in a long line of many losers.

It makes them feel cool. Most people belong to snowmobile clubs not teams.

woodbooga: (WOOD-boog-ah), n. regional dialect, common to areas of New Hampshire and Maine including the towns of Ossipee, Alton, Farmington, Acton, and Lebanon; one who attempts to obtain free firewood to fuel woodburning appliances in an effort to mitigate expenses related to home heating with fossil fuels. Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.

I'm on a professional twinkie-eating team. We'll have a "teaser" out next week. It'll be SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO cooooool. You'll see us starting to jam the twinkies in our mouths but you won't see us finish the box.

We have all these sponsors - Little Debbie, Hostess, NAMBLA, CDC, Edited, this part was an obvious bash on another member

Team: noun: a number of persons associated in some joint action

The above is a definition of team from dictionary.com

Sounds like any group of people that participate in the act of snowmobiling together could be defined as a team. Who cares if they name themselves.

I do agree that just giving your group a fancy name doesn't make you the hottest thing on snow, or a foremost authority on all things related to riding though.

If you wanna name your team, have at it. If it makes your riding experience or your friendships better than be my guest.

I live in Fairbanks Alaska. Half the trucks in this town have a big logo saying team this or that.

Do you know how much organized snowmachine racing happens in this town???? Zero. I'm not trying to slam them, but it just seems really fake.

its not just to feel cool..some people like to form these things because they enjoy THAT..like making websites, logos, video editing..some people enjoy doing that. so they make a team...i didn't make a team...i started making videos at the starting of the year and i had trouble naming them so i called them northern ontario films..No members...but the same riders come back in each video, i made a myspace, a logo and thats about it..because i enjoy doing that stuff not because i wanna get popular or because i think im cool..
