Perhaps you were the only one viewing the thread?

Usually if I am the only one, it says 0 guests, 0 members. If I then hit refresh, my name will pop up under 'viewing members' or whatever it is.

I just viewed one a bit ago that myself and another were viewing. It stated 2 members, and both the names were listed.

Long story short...no problem here...

2006 Arctic Cat SnoPro 440/700 EFI
1998 Arctic Cat ZR 600 EFI Custom
1996 Ski-Doo FormulaIII 600

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

It all has to deal with caching to save server resources. The online list with the locations of all users is updated every 30 seconds.

Didn't want to highjack just anyone's thread, figure Trick would at least give me a "pass" after hearing this.

@Erick. been having some strange happenings lately. I just upgraded my browser to the beta IE 8.0, here's what I've seen strange:

  1. The smiley icons seem to render over and over when replying to a topic PM. It happens if you need to scroll the page after you hit the reply button to get the area tpo type in a reply but before hitting submit (I do this a lot to doublecheck what someone else has said and who said it). When I "emulate" IE 7.0, the problem is gone
  2. When I try to post a new topic in this forum, it remembers everything about my last post in here is copies to all the right fields. FWIW, this happens after "emulating" 7.0 too
  3. Both events were testing after doing the normal, logging out of the site, clearing cache, coookies, history etc.

Again, sorry for the hijack Trickpaint

Updated the post, ignore the strike-outs, my bad

Life is a miracle.

It's all about the ride to get there, the destination doesn't matter!

If it was for Polaris Industries, you probably accidentally clicked on one of the banners without knowing about it. The code to implement those banners on the site is incapable of producing a pop up window without user interaction (IE. Clicking on the banner). They are simply static banners.

Here is one for you erick. Ever since the Polaris ads appeared I have had to click the back button numerous times to get to the previously page I had viewed.
