i am trying to figure out what the current all-time records are for grass drags in all different lengths of tracks and also the same for asphalt and ice. and what about the all-time top speed of a snowmobile ever.

I heard Yamaha set the record with 187 somewhere. But, I saw a snowmobile do 192, except it was a custom sled with a 6 cylinder motor, on radar run.

i think the runs are in 2000 feet in know darin weber went 171 in 1000 aboard jaws 2

budwiser had a sled, well a dragster on tracks that went over 200 mph in the 1/4 mile. jaws 3 went something like 195 and modzilla is at 192,

We ran 192.2 in 1320' in N. Bay. Jaws 3 has only gone 190.3. Paul Groth has said he has gone 201.? with the bud sled but I have never seen it in print anywhere
We also have run 176.47 in 1000' with Modzilla and 173.48 on the Billetmod in a 1/4(Naturally Aspirated BTW)

When I was at the princeton outlaw grass drags a couple summers ago the announcer had said someone beat the old record....I can't remember what class it was though. The guy hit 114 in 1000 ft. That's haulin.

budwiser also had a sled with a couple yami v max 4 engines on it. at the nssr run i was at it spit and sputtered to a 120 mph run.

On grass John Wheelock went 127.?? mph in 500 feet in 4.2 seconds i believe. Over on amsnow, Onestopperformance went 146.?? in 660 ft. this winter on ice.

That was right in my neighborhood. I was at that when he did it, and was talking to the guy before he did it, since i know him personally. I still laugh when i see the video. Funny stuff right there. Kinda a goofy thing, but i do believe that actually is a world record for the fastest mini sled. There never was one before though and he's the only one to try for it.
