I'm having a hard time getting thru the Active Topics this AM. The pages seem to lock up then reload clicking all the way.
When I click a thread it comes up quickly and then I can't scroll down. Then I hear the page clicking (not the mouse) two or three times, the web page status bar shows it reloading and then I can scroll down.
This could be the adds and banners loading? I noticed this before on SF (the only page and forum) just not this bad.
Using IE7, Up to date on cable.
Thanks.

The iFrames for the ads load when the page is done loading. It should not affect the overall loading speed of the page or your ability to scroll (at least it doesn't in my case). I wanted them to operate as independently as possible so that it would not affect site loading. It's strange it's doing that for you though. Just for curiosity sake, what are the specs of your computer?

Toshiba Laptop, Centrino Duo T5500 1.67 Ghz with 2 GB Ram. I have a 5 Meg Cable connection althought the laptop is on wireless N. I'll check it out on my two Desktops later, one is a Vista machine even faster and the other is running XP.
I'm pretty sure its the ads and the pages load quick but like I said, it just won't scroll down until everything is done... either via the mouse's wheel, side bar or arrows/PGDN buttons.
Thanks, its not a big deal but for our members with slower connections or PC's it could. Just thought you would like to know.

This may not be the right place for this question, however I am a new member and have several questions that I would like to post, can someone give me just a small bit of advise on how to post a question on the forum the correct way, it seems I am only able to figure out how to reply, I would like to creat my own topic and can not figure out how? Thanks in advance.

Got to the Forum then find the most appropriate subject area and then hit the new topic button on the upper right side. Try testing a post in this forum first. http://www.snowmobilefanatics.com/forum/forum/40/display.aspx

Well sorry for the fuss.
No problem via Desktop PC, it still clicks when the ads load but no hesitation scrolling. It must be a setting on the Laptop, could be something to do with the touch pad vs. wireless mouse or an IE setting.
