My Son and I are ready to upgrade our sleds for next season, and would like some advice. Currently I ride a 2003 Arctic Cat Panther 570 fan, and my son rides a 1976 Arctic Cat Jag 3000 340. I am 6' 200 lbs, he is 5'10" 185 lbs. We do alot of technical riding, with a decent amount of road riding. We rarely ride faster than 60 mph, most of our riding is touring. The snow conditions here would be similar to the lp of michigan, or upstate NewYork. We have been riding for 3 years and have probably 5,000 miles between us. We are mechanically inclined enough to do most repairs and service as long as we have a tech manual. Our main requirments for our new sleds would be 1. controlability especially in tight corners 2. stability 3. smooth ride and stability on mouguls 4. comfort 5. power 6. looks We are HUGE Arctic Cat fans, but have been seriously thinking about ski-doo, and MAYBE Polaris, we really have no interest in Yamaha. We are looking to go late model or new, but would consider anything 2003 -2008. If buying new nothing over $6,000 ea. Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say.....Thanx in advance
