I installed leds on my sled this year. I think they look go(the bling factor). Found out that you can't use them in Mighigan. I do not know about Minnesota. What do you guys think of them? Thanks

I got them from www.plasmaled.com . The ones in the tunnel and under the running broads are the high output style. The ones by the front shocks are the 5 pod leds. It was not to hard to wire, but I am a electrican. It took me about a afternoon to do. Thanks for the input. It is the color that is illegal, not the lights. Should have picked a different color.

i always thought if i put them on my running boards they would rip off or get smashed by jumping snow banks and such. i think in some areas red and blue are illegal because they "look like cop lights" or somting to that effect.some areas also claim that blue and red headlight cover to be "looking like cop lights" so they are illegal.

I would get 5 of the high output wide angle leds, from www.plasmaled.com .They are about $14.99 each, They come in blue, red, white, green, and amber. I cut the resistor off and extended the wires to remote locate the resistors under my hood. I just used some trailer wires I had handy. I will take some pics late tonight, so they should be up in the morning.

As for reliability, if it has tits, tires or burns gas, you're going to run into problems.....sooner or later.
