Remove trim from windshield. Measure out how much you want to cut off. Use masking tape, follow that distance all the way around the windshield (ie: If you want to remove 3" from the top of the w'shield, the tape should be 3" from the top all the way around the w'shield). Once marked, use a dremel tool with cutting wheel and cut the line you made. Once done, remove masking tape, and use a sanding disk to smooth any rough edges. Reapply trim, and you're good to go.

That's how I roll. Done many that way...

You can also use a tin-snip or cutters of some sort. I prefer a 'powered' method though.

1998 Arctic Cat ZR 600 EFI Custom
1996 Ski-Doo FormulaIII 600

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

Thanks.

Decal removal is easy if you take your time. Use a heat gun (hair dryer will work in a pinch), and heat the decal. Once warm enough, you will be able to peel up a corner of the decal. Heat the decal as you pull it up and back...it will come off. Do not over heat, as the decal will become weak and rip easily. Not enough heat will result in a poor removal as well. Takes a bit to figure out the 'right amount' of heat. Once done, goo-gone works well to clean up any adhesion left.

The sled pictured is a '98 ZR 600 EFI.

Here's actually what it looks like now...

North central North Dakota...

I would go with C&A skis myself. The Razors are a popular model. I have C&A ADX skis on my ZR...XT model on my SnoPro. Slydog is the other company I'd look into.

You can search online to find other places to purchase them if you please.
