I have a JVC camcorder with a 20gb built in hard drive that takes video in a HD format. When they are downloaded onto my computer they use a .MOD extension. For this site and photobucket neither will support that type of extension. Anyone have an idea how I can change the format. Im at my witts end

I'm not certain but can't you import it into windows movie maker, put together your video, and encode the output as a windows media video? When you download it to your computer what program are you using and is there an option to convert it there?

When I open to play a video, it already opens with Windows media. Looks like ACM found the link I need, JVC Eviro is exactly what I have.
