87 exciter help - wont start flooding started by lake357

Could I get some sugestions its a 87 exciter 570 wont start keeps flooding itself almost starts firing like crazy drained the bowl and changed the fuel and the plugs are getting wet.

do you smell gas when u pull it over? might pull the exhaust off and make sure its not full of gas. I've had that happen to our exciter. also might check and see if ur getting spark. if no spark then it could be in the CDI box.

has bright white spark after pulling it over and over can smell fuel and see some dripping out of exhaust.

Take the carbs off and put in some new needle and seats. Just make sure you set them to the right hight.
