Hello all, This is my first sled and post. about me: mechanic, offroader, general east cost hick in colorado. The sled: 96 Enticer II. first life was a resort sled. never wrecked. picked it up off craig's list. It was sitting next to a barn, had old gas in it. hadn't been run in a year. We cranked it over with a drill for a minute and it fired up. we then drove down the drive way now starts on first pull!! feals like very good compression by the pull start. has reverse and a seat for 2 plus a basket for cargo. This is totaly a utility sled. 8000 miles. The track has about 1/2 inch of pattle left, the track sliders are gone, the skis are about worn out. other than the normal wear items it seems good to go. My goal is to have a reliable machine on the cheep to run the groomed trails for ski/snowboard adventures. I don't think that this machine will be capable of running powder especially at over 10,000 ft Now for the Questions:
1. How do i identify the track size to buy a good used track.
2. How do i pull the track?
3. is there a way you guys refurbish skis via a mig welder.
4. what do i need to look out for on this engine, are there any reliability issues to look out for?
5. what can I expect performance wise once this machine is running well.
6. how do i maintain the pull start?
7. What sleds have common parts to this one?
8. can I install and charge 12v battery for accessories?

YO YO thanks for any and all help. I really look forward to join y'all on the trail.
-Dave-
