What sleds have you beat on your 03-06 Firecat F5???? Could be Drags or top speed runs. Very interested so no B.S. I've heard they can spank a mxz 700. Also how much difference does the 13hp really make to the F6?

i know ill probaly get some heat for posting in this but i dont think youre going to beat a mxz 700 with a f5.you will beat a zx chassi 500 fairly decent.you might run with the zx chassi 600 though but probaly not.going from a f5 to a f6 you will notice a difference but jumping up to the f7 is where you will notice the big jump. ive rode them all and thats just my .02.

Fair enough, the only sleds i've raced on my F5 where an 06 ST Turbo 660, & 07 Phazer. Raced each in a drag to 100km/h and absolutely destroyed them both. Also raced the ST from 70km/h and then WOT and completely destoyed it. The ST has 110hp and the Phazer has 80hp.

I have been beat by a f-5 this year some random guy at the radar runs wanted t line up sp i did i new he was gunna beat me those f-5's have more horse than my "little triple" he did not kill me but he did kill me out of the hole, we raced 660ft and he beat me by 2 sled lengths or so. Those f-5's are no joke. But I saw that guys get beat by zr 500 and xc 500s so Idont know. The guy got 73mph in 660ft and I got 69 mph and yes that was on gun.

unfortunetly i cant answer your ? but may be able to give you some insight. It sounds to me ,you like to know and do what i do,that is know what your sled is able to beat and not be able to beat. The problem with sleds are some many diffrent variables and it can make such a huge diffrence from one sled to the next being the same modle, year, color size heck even bought the same day from the same dealer.Good exsamples are f7.People rant and rave they are so fast this so fast that and i read all these before i raced one and thought for sure i was done, well lo and behold my stock xc800 beat it in 1000 ft.But i have seen some absolute rocket f7s that after that stomped me back and forth.Same goes with the xcsp 700 aot of people complain they are a turd, but there are some box stock ones that will blow the skis off alot of 800s.Vehicals and atvs on the other hand tend to be more consistant.Take my tundra for exsample, i know what trucks to aviod when i come to a stop light either by experince or by good reliable info(hemi rams, titans, new tundras, chevy 6.0 most by exsprience). But sleds are a tough call, just gata go out there and line up its all for fun anyways and just make sure its at least in an open area.
