Here is the start of our ride @ the south side of Pelican Butte~

A closer look!!!

Here is a little further up the mountain side looking south~

Here is Mike (in the back ground) and I (in the front)

Here is where we stopped. I do believe its Car hill that we are on. Doesn't look so step in back ground but it is. Also the snow is over knee deep!!!! Up a little over 7,000ft..... You can hear the guys at the top of Pelican that where in the bowl and rode up to the top.

Here is my son Alan on the 700MM, My Wife Kari in the center And my buddy Mike on the right.

So we went back down and decided to take the trail head up to the top!!!

Came close but the last mile was bad. The drifts are as tall as me!!! Over 6' tall

Mike and I looking into the Bowl~

I'm going tomorrow to the bowl!!!! I'll take more pics for you guys. Enjoy....

I have that SnoWest mag, was a great 8-page article about Brown, Pelican Butte, and Annie Creek. Die-hard sledders WILL find a way, gas prices or not!!

Unless it rains 3", then I will probably avoid the snow ;) Or maybe attach the outboard motor to the back of the sled and go play in the Great Meadow!
