	Jetting, check your cables, could be a number of things. With my 97 powder extreme i was getting around 5, but i had a bad oil pump cable and it was running way to rich. We got a new one and it solved it. I would say check that and your jetting and adjust accordingly. 	i heard that the zr and zl 500 were bad on fuel to start with,a guy who used to ride with us had a zl500 and he tried playing with the carbs and stuff,it got better but was still worse than my 600 *98 XC600 and some RMK add ons *98 XCR440 and some SKS add ons *Some old 70s Chappral Firebird with a 1 lunger Fuji,15mph downhill on ice with a 14 mph tailwind,AND ITS FOR SALE FOR SALE!!! *new edition to the fam.83 Polaris Star 250.givin it some TLC for the lil guys to ride Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit

	by looking at the plugs it doesnt seem to be running to rich. i was told that the reeds might be worn out and not sealing tight. would this cause any problems. i have all summer to get it right but 50 miles on a tank of gas will get old real fast next season. especially when i ride with 7 and 800's that get more miles than i do loud pipes save lives Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit

	hmm my easy fix spend some dough buy a bigger fuel tank or, check all you lines, pumps, carb, jetting. and if nothing helps i agree with Xx08BRAAAPPP22xX Quote *ease off the flipper* 159" track with Mountain Machines extensions 8" billet wheels tunnel from Vertical Edge chassis with fuel rack left hand throttle 1/8 inch tapered bars four inch riser Ceramic coated SLP Pipe and Silencer SLP cold air intake with Flow-Rites and Air Horn V-Force 3 Reeds Team Roller Secondary clutch.
