03 440 - wondering if a 14 year old can maintain it started by hondarider17

Ok im looking at a 03 440
The sled runs on pump gas, LC domes, oil injection, holtzman tempaflow, C & A skis, windshield, hand guards, clutch kit, extra jets, extra pilot jets, new seat cover, never raced, never rolled or crashed, never blown up, 3100 miles
like said above hte sled runs on tempaflow and oil injection so i dont need to premix or jet it.
how long till i would have to rebuild it has 3100 miles
and where can i get a compression tester?

its no problem if its trail converted...you wont need to rejet it..so sure go for it..good sled.and IMO i wouldn't rebuilt it if you need it..so obviously if you have a compression tester with you..check..if it does need rebuilding i wouldn't buy it..id buy something that you can drive right away:P..and you can probably get a compression tester at any automotive store.

Ok So how much would a compression tester be
and how many miles would a 440 need before rebuilding?

i dont know how much it is...you'll have to find that out:P.

and for the miles..i dont think 440's have a dash that says the miles..but just once in a while check the compression and if it gets too low then you know its time to order some engine parts and do a littlw work.
