hello everyone i am just wondering but would an xcr 800 triple engine fit in my polaris 650 chassi?

You are probably going to have to shave some of the hood away for the pipes to fit.

you need to make a set of pipes, you need to either measure and redo the stock mounts a little or make new ones. a brtech indy hood makes fitting pipes easier, it gives more room at the nose area for stuffing the pipes into.
nothing goes like 3 holes!!

whats a brtech hood?for the pipes will they just not fit for hood wise or what? and for cooling and stuff will the stock 650 heat exchangers work?

What is he looking at for expenses for this whole project? Madcow?

pipes will range from 650 bucks of doing it your self to 1200 for someone else to fit them.
other than that the motor mounts you might be able to make?
nothing goes like 3 holes!!

*04 Pro-X 600-A few mods,and go-fast parts.......136" x 1.25" this winter
*98 XC600 and some RMK add ons-The sons ride this winter
*98 XCR440 and some SKS add ons------SOLD :-(

*90 Yamaha Exciter---Wanna trade even up for an Indy Trail,Or any Indy of equal Value!!

Wouldn't recommend it. Cause although they are the same displacement, that is not the only consideration that goes into pipe design.
Cause I don't give a rats about who took second or 12th for that matter your just the next loser in a long line of many losers.

if you are a good fabricator you can make some old stock pipes work. especially if you use 3 individual silencers instead of a can.
nothing goes like 3 holes!!
