Dad bought this trailer about a month ago (didn't bring it home until now cause mom didn't know)... Its a 1997 featherlite 32 foot (floor space, not including the gooseneck) 4 horse slant, hydraulic jacks, generator, living quarters, bathroom/shower... The original list price on it was 75k dollars... we got it for less than a third of that.

Wouldnt take much to convert that to a sled trailer/workshop/overnight area. Be nice to be able to take off for a week and only worry about fuel.

I was trying to figure out a way to fit a fourwheeler or a sled in there, but that rear tack area and center divider can't be removed.

That trailer has a lot of nice features. A lot that most trailers didn't have when that one was new in '97. The 8-foot width and manger storage will be handy. Did the generator on top come with it? That water tank and hay rack will be really handy, too. It must have a mid-tack room, too, which is really nice. A few things I noticed were odd to me. The escape door in the first stall is on the butt side. I wonder what the deal is with that. Normally, they're on the head side. And it's too bad the rear tack cannot be collapsed or removed. The living quarters must be 12 or 14 feet on the shortwall (or maybe it's a straight wall?), which is very big.

My wife and I would like to get a 4 horse trailer with living quarters someday. I think a 6- or 8-foot shortwall would be plenty. And a mid-tack, too. Even with that, it'll be in the 28- to 30-foot range. Our 3 horse bumper pull and slide-in pickup camper works just fine for now.
