Ok got a question for all of you guys out there that have a shorty seat on your sled, how comfortable are they for trail riding? I have been looking into buying a shorty but I do a lot of sit down trail riding and wasn't sure if it would be comfortable for that style of riding. So, how comfy are they?

I like mine, it keeps you high up so your knees are at a nice angle. But if your bars are forward like mine are your arms are pretty stretched out, maybe not bad if your taller. But I usually only sit down when I'm going across a straight stretch like on a lake. I probably wouldn't get one unless you stand up most of the time

Buy a used Boss seat, much better money spent for the same amount.

i agree, a boss seat is the best seat you can buy bar none. the shorty seat is a POS, there are a lot of problems with them "collapsing" The foam gets soft since it is of low quality after just 1-2 seasons of riding causing it to become really uncomfortable and useless. not to mention, there is no storage unlike a boss or stock seat for that matter. get a high rise if your getting a new seat...

Boss seat is your best bet, I agree. Not sure about comfort of it.

But, as for the question on the shorty. VERY COMFY.
