I was talking to my sister on the phone. She said that Detroit Lakes area got a foot and a half of snow today. Anyone else have proof of this? They drove 20 miles and counted 18 cars in the ditch along hwy 10. They were going to start field work soon, but not anymore.

I need big jugs on my sled, cuz my girl doesn't.

There was blizzard like conditions on campus here in Fargo today. I can't imagine how bad it could've been out of town. Fargo probably has 4" of new snow right now...still snowing off and on as I type...

Hard to believe there were people wearing shorts and cutoffs all last week, and now there's snow...

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

I am 20 miles West of Detroit Lakes over in Hawley. We've got probably about 7-8 inches of snow between last night and today. It's still coming down heavy.
I just got back from a 20 mile ride on the ZR. I would've gone farther but the ditches are full of water in a lot of areas... here's some pics for your enjoyment taken within the last hour or so.

Well, I was just outside here a bit ago. I got a better judgement of the snow depth...I'd say it's closer to 6-8" in most spots. I walked from the building out to my car and cleaned the windows off. As I went back to the building, I noticed my tracks were almost completely filled in already. Definately snowing/blowing pretty good right now. The service guys are hard at it...I noticed 2 skid-steers, a backhoe, a maintainer, and a payloader all out moving the snow.
