Well I found a roller clutch for about 50$. guy said it is in pretty good shape and ready to go. is this clutch better then the one on my 99 sks 700. and it also has a R32 (50/34 degree) helix in it. would this work with my sled. it is stock so far. what would i need to make it work if it would on my sled, such as weights and springs.
thanks
Ryan

From what I have seen, parts are hard to come by on the Polaris roller. They didn't make it that long (they started using the Team clutch). You may be buying something you can't get set up right for your sled, it may be cheap, but unless it's exactly right, it could be a white elephant... Look for the helix and spring combination you need, if you can find those, then you are good to go. If not, save the money for gas!

It is a decent set-up. You can still get parts from polaris for it. There are alot of companies that sell parts/peices for it.

Polaris used it for a good 3-4 years.

i'm not impressed with the TEAM roller secondary neither.
my buddies 800 with 2000 miles was taking out belts like they were made out of elastic. the TEAM roller was flat spotted on all the roller wheels....at only 2000 miles? we were not impressed.

really. I have over 6000 miles on my team with no issues. No belt problems. Main issue with belt blowing/burning is alignment not the clutch.

There is also a big difference between the polaris roller and the team roller.

the sled has never blown a belt until it was discovered all the rollers were flat spotted and the secondary was binding. It took out 3 belts in about 30 miles of riding and these aren't cheap belts. when the TEAM secondary was rebuilt, the belt blowing issue was gone. it was not an alignment issue.

Havn't heard about the rollers flat spotted. We have had alot of teams go through the shop and none with that issue.
