I found a XCR for $500. The owner thought it had about 5000miles and just had a new pistons top end redone. He said that the hood is cracked but it has good wear bars.

Also, what is the difference between the xcr's and xlt's?

Thanks

xcr's have bigger engine porting and bigger carbs. both are great engines.

depends if its the sp or not? if it is, its completly different the xcr sp has reed valves and the xcr does not. the xcr engine is the same engine as the 650 triple except 50 cc difference. the xcr has three seperate cylinders while the xlt is a uni-block, the xlt has 34mm carbs and the xcr has 38mm. hope that helps.
