hey guys im from texas and ive got a guy bringing me a snowmobile engine from wisonsin to mess around with. is it possible to run one in 90 degree weather without messing it up. if so what would need to be done. it would be an air cooled carburetter twin cylinder. please let me know if its possible. if not i gotta ask him to try and find a liquid cooled and that would be hard for him.

I think you'd be better off to use a liquid cooled and then find a small radiator (off a motorcycle or fourwheeler). You'd have to get it jetted and tuned right, but I'm sure you could do it. What are you going to use the motor for?

Get a liquid and find a radiator for it. You will have trouble cooling a air cooled machine. But i guess it depends on what your doing with it.

a fan cooled would be good if you get air ducts facing front to "scoop" the air more.A liquid cooled will work as long as you get a good radiator,A perfect one would be out of a geo metro (which i happen to have a nice one with a small fan),theyre slightly larger than a wheeler or cycle radiator, but real light and larger surface would indeed cool it way more in 90+ temps. And i agree that you will have to jet it for the warmer temps, and if you clutch it good im sure it will be a runner

*98 XC600 and some RMK add ons
*98 XCR440 and some SKS add ons

There probably isn't a bunch of used parts near you, so be sure your friend brings you
both of the clutches, the jackshaft, carbs, coil, and exhaust. If not, shipping will probably
cost more than you will be paying for parts.

It was around 90 degrees when the "Z Road" video was made.
