I want to remove my torsion bar on my 00' RMK because its clanking around.I am mostly a boondocker so I dont think it will be a problem removing it.

The question I have is there a way to get these out without having to cut the torsion bar? The one I have is one solid piece and has bends right where the bar goes into the belly pan. Also is there rubber grommets they make to plug the holes once it is removed?

Marriage is like playing cards,if you dont have a good partner you better have a good hand!!

Wives are like a deck of cards: You need a heart to love them;A diamond to woo them;A club to beat them; And a spade to bury the body!

cut it, or remove the motor. I think on my zx you can do it without either but its hard. you have to reach a wrench below the motor.

Take off the trailing arms. Drill out the rivets holding the mounts in. You have to move the bar around alot, but it will come out.

i pulled out mine on my 00 rmk 800 simply by drilling the rivets out on both plastic bushings on each side then just undo one trailing arm so you can pop out the end of the sway bar, then it just takes abit of manipulation and persausion to get it to come out. shouldn't take more than 10-15 mins to get it out.

I do what the voices in my head tell me!!
