you would be better off fixing the engine thats in it. by the time you spend making the mount, and makeing pipes you could have almost paid for the engine parts.
nothing goes like 3 holes!!

Well i wouldnt go there this thundercat has suspension from a 03 zr 800. And the whole engine is shot, 1 of the cylinders and the entire bottom end, the piston rod snapped and tore up the top of the crankcase. so there is no fixing that junk.

Just out of curiosity, what would you do with your Ultra? IMO it is a better sled than the cat.
Sleds owned and own:
1997 Indy Storm (Stormy)
1994 Arctic Cat 550 EXT (backup/buddy sled)
1996 XLT Special (Sold)
2000 Indy 500 (Sold)

Ohh, i c, well, why dont you scrap the motor, part the cat out, and buy an edge rear for your SPX? To me that'd seem like the most logical way of getting a better riding sled with some balls, as well as saving yourself from buy the couple dozen bottles of tylenol just to get through the head ache of getting the ultra motor into the t kitty.

yeah well i thought since they are both tripple tripples it wouldnt be to bad but...i dont know i have my spx for sale for like 1,000 which is a steal for how mint this sled is, but i really need the money so my loss would be someones gain. Buying more parts for the spx is out of the question since i already have 1800 into it and i know i will never se that back again. I dont know what to do, bottom line i guess...anybody looking for thundercat parts because it is getting parted!

1) Keep the Ultra SPX together, those make great river runners.
2) Sell T-Cat as Rolling Chassis
3) Find a 10hp Kohler 4 stroke and change the T-Cat over to a youth/Begginer sled. Regearing would be required.
