Three summers ago we purchased a 'new' house outside of town a bit. Three acres with lots of woods and undeveloped areas surrounding the property.

The deer are incredable!

Last year I planted five Cedar trees and this fall wraped them in burlap. The deer came and ripped the burlap off the trees and ate them. I managed to salvage one tree.

The prior year they ate some newly planted spruce trees before I learned to fence them in for winter time.

Last fall I planted bulbs, Irises and tulips in front of the house. They started sprouting last week. Monday night they came and chewed them down to the the dirt. Now this morning I noticed they came back and dug up many of the bulbs.

Not to mention other shrubs and such that go apesh!t on.

I'm really getting tired of these f#@king bastards.

Does anybodys have any discrete ways to well, ummm, kill deer, or maybe not so illegal way to discourage them coming around?

Thanks,
pigboy

Turn the neighbors in that are feeding the deer.
In Hermantown, there are a lot of people feeding them which is illegal.
Don't get caught firing a gun in Hermantown. A paintball gun works if you can get close enough to them.
A crossbow also works but isn't exactly safe.
Good luck.

bars of soap work for awhile, you must change the brand/sent every few days/weeks.

My dad used to pop then in the head with a small power bb gun, didn't hurt them and scared them away.

Triples are like fat chicks, When you ride one your friends make fun of ya, but they give you a hell of a ride like its thier last.
