Hey ya all! Im a cat man, and getting a new yamaha, supposed to be this coming fall but now my wifes pregnant so thats on hold, and ill keep looking around to see hows other brand sled is doing this winter. now why am i on a polaris forum? WELL..

i have always liked all of the sleds of some types. but never knew i would own a polaris, how did the whole thing start? about 3 days ago, i was driving to work in the morning, running late that morning, saw a yard sale i ingored it but i saw a sled in the yard sale too. i looked and glanced it say 250 dollars, i slammed on the brakes fast, turned around and came up the driveway, walked straight to the sled, the old man look to be around 60ish, i asked him i want to hear it running, he say ok got the keys, he started it, fired right up only one pull, and man it ran good! test drove it around the yard. then offered him ~~~150.00~~~ he say he will take it if i give him the cash within 30 mins, so off i went to atm, withdrew 200 out, and gave him 150. now its mine, i got to give him a call when we can transfer the title. the sled is about 97% MINT!! all orginal. 4300 k miles, one owner! everything looks great!

Now i got some questions. i would like to wake up the F/C 488 a lil more since i cant afford the new sled now. so what do i do? sorry for a long post.

nice find dude for a 150 bucks i think you got an awsome deal. couple of my buddy's have the same sled real realible machine ( bulletProofEngines)..but as waking it up a bit i'd say clutch it and maby a pipe not much more that u could really do to em

what abt havin the head milled .020? something like that. im used to all of the fast sleds, and this winter im gonna use this polaris, since my 88 wildcat is beat on the body, and the suspension flat out sucks! so this polaris will be better.
all of my ex sled was
99 zr700
03 firecat 500 std
92 wildcat 700
still have
88 wildcat 650
and now a 91 polaris.

i forgot to post this, the reason the guy is selling the sled for cheap is cause hes movin to florida soon.
