Alright, here's the dealio. I'm working on a dirtbike site which will much reflect what is seen here at Snowmobile Fanatics. Since I am not much of a dirtbiker (though I do enjoy riding), I need opinions on how to organize the forum. I'd like to try a different approach than here and focus more so on different brands of bikes and then break down by model / or style of bike.
What are the major brands? Within each brand, what are the major categories? Example, we all know the four major snowmobile brands and within each brand there is Mountain, Trail, Crossover, Racing sleds, etc, etc. I would like a similar setup for dirtbikes (perhaps by engine size?). I'm not sure, let me know the best way to go about organizing this.
The functionality of the site will mimic what you see here. The layout will be a little bit different, but not much. I want to get this site along with an ATV site up and running for the summer. Give me your ideas and opinions. Anything is welcome.
Breaking free from the thoughts in my mind

I am not into dirt biking, although i would really like to. But i did a little research and found a different site with a good set up, maybe you can take that then add your own twist, mixed with a little SF or something. http://www.dirtrider.net/forums3/index.php there is the site. I kind of like how they have it broke down. I dont know if that helps but i figured i would at least try and give my 2 cents. If you dont mind me asking, is this a site that you are doing for yourself or for a company Oh yea, and dont forget about SF!

You have three days to do something to turn your life around. Three days to put down that bottle, throw away those pills, make your amends, and move forward with living. What would you do? How would you use your Three Days of Grace?"
