I might bid in a 1998 powder special 600:) are those good sleds?

it has about 4500 miles on it. and the paint on the hood looks bad from old stickers. how much are they worth?:)

They are decent sleds. The motor is relatively bulletproof. IMO, they are a bit underpowered, coming in at only ~105hp for the 600. That being said, they are obviously not the quickest sled, but it will get you around. The 136x2 track will scoot you around ok, just don't plan on setting any highmarks with it.

I'd say you're going to be looking at probably $1500usd for one...somewhere in there.

Nada Guides put it at $1410-$1850, if that helps any.

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion. Moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut!

The Powder Specials only came in a twin.

The triple was the Powder Extreme.

105 hp is enough for me:) im not "allowed" to drive it anyway there is this stupid law here that people that are 16 - 18 years cant drive sleds that are moore powerfull than fan 550`s.

i think it wil be good for me if i get it:) it will probably be a huge difference from the xcr

i think i will bid around 1500, thats not much in Norway. everything is more expensive here... im not going to offer more since i don't NEED a new sled and im not legally allowed to drive it

and its a twin efi? are efi engines good?

EfI engines are awesome in my opinion. They do all the work for you in regards to oil/gas mixture. Just pour gas and oil and go! I know that we have owned EFI sleds for 8 years now and would never go back.

Agreed...the efi's are quite nice. Pull the rope and go...no matter what the temperature or elevation. I purchased my first efi sled about 5 years ago, and have never wanted to go back to carbs since.
