I was wondering what year cranks you can use in the cases of the 580 L/C. Does anyone know?

93/94 are probably the only cranks you can use, because those were the only years of the 580...

What are you looking to do? I don't know if they will fit or not but I have 2 600 cranks that would need rebuilding and basically a complete, tore down, 95 xcr 600 motor, that I would really like to get rid of.

you can get complete engines off ebay that will be far cheaper than rebuilding a crank.

I have one 600 that lost the pto bearings and needless to say it took out the piston as well. The rest of the crank is good. I've had the block repaired now I just need the crank. I picked up another trp 600(same yr) off ebay for 300 but I was wanting to rebuild the one that went out on me. Otherwise I guess I have some spare parts. If i knew how to seperate the crank I would do the repairs myself and save some money. Not sure what to do.
