ok so here is my issue. I just put in a used 600 trp. My old engine died as a result of the the auto oiler. I wasn't aware of the fact that if they get laid over on their side you should bleed the oil injection lines as they can get air pockets. Anyway, last night I fired up the engine for the first time. Prior to starting I pulled the crank a few times to make sure there was oil dripping out of the injection lines. When I started the sled she had the cold smoke rolling from like normal. Is there any other way to make sure the oil is being injected?(Am I just being overly parinoid)? I ran the engine for about 5 min. pulled out a plug and it smelled like a clean burn. I also fired up my 500 after cleaning the plugs so I could see if they appeared the same. They did. Do you guys think I am ok with the oiler and just being parinoid? I don't want the same thing to happen again.

if your worried about the oiling till the engine has been run for a lil bit then premix the gas then you'll know when that runs out then your pump will be bled fully.People do have problems with the oiling, i know i have b4 but for the most part they are reliable or the sled manufacturers wouldnt be using them still.Yes youre being paraniod somewhat, but thats expected since your sled failed due to an oiling issue so i dont blame you for feeling the way you do.
