big big problem need help please!!!

finaly got my quad...LTR450!!

i put a new crank in my 95xcr600 and it ran good,but i had to adjust the oil pump soooo i adjusted it and i couldnt get it started cuz i flooded it. so i pulled the plugs out and pulled it over, got it to start. it shut down quickly did it agian pulled it over with the plugs out and it siezed!!! i turned the clutch it freed up then did it agian so im not sure what happend think a broken ring? i sprayed wd40 in it and am letting it sit so a cracked ring or what are the other possibilities? please help guys???
suzuki ozark 250 mod. bored .020, custom exhaust,drilled carb,costom paint.
08 ltr450. cherry bomb .

did you adjust it the way i told you to?
if you suspect a broken ring, run a compression test then put some oil in the cylinder and do it again if the compression improved you need to replace a ring

2 and 4 suck... 3 is the majic number.... ;)(still applies even tho i now own a twin)

yup the two lines matched up perfectly like you said, it was smoking on the center cyl. so chances are thats it?

is it currently siezed or freed up?
and what do you mean it was smokeing on one cylinder where was the smoke coming from

its freed now and it was smoking out of the center plug hole or what ever the name,when i turn it backwards and foward agian its free!
