Hey guys and gals, I'm an avid paintballer, not the type where you run around in the forest, but the speedball paintballer, where balls shoot out at roughly 280-300fps, Just curious if anyone else paintballs? What is your setup? Anyone playing in a tournament this weekend?

I love to paintball, but unlike you I prefer woodsball to speedball. I do however do speedball much more often. The reason I love woodsball so much is I love to sneak around, because I am suprisingly good at it(even though I am 6'4" and 300lbs.). I will many times sneak on my buddies and get 3-4 at a time. Once I even took out the whole opposing team. Around here in Indiana there really is only a few speedball fields, and I can certainly hold my own in those, but I usually find myself playing against guys like you. I like playing against guys who actually are in tournaments and have really nice gun because I feel it gives me more competition. The only problem with that though is I usually get stuck with the only girls or little kids who sit in the back and hide the whole time.
I play with a Tippman A5, completely stock. Ironically it shoots more accurate than my Model 98 with a 14" Custom Products barrel(my backup gun). I can certainly put out alot of paint, but not near as much as some of the nicer guns.
There is my paintball story!
Sleds owned and own:
1997 Indy Storm (Stormy)
1994 Arctic Cat 550 EXT (backup/buddy sled)
1996 XLT Special (Sold)
2000 Indy 500 (Sold)

yeah, i shoot a 05 ego, 68/4500 tank, vlocity hopper, and play some intense xball, i have a tournament this weekend in the CXBL(Canadian Xball league) It's pretty good, i get to practice with one of the tope 3 teams in canada. I'm thinking about getting my team to play a couple tournaments in the states and play against some of you americans, I spent roughly 4 grand last season playing, thanks to sponsors, i wont have to spend nearly that much this year.
