Well, since I sunk it last day in march and lost my testes forever due to my love of cold water...
water sled time! use and abuse teh bitch all year round!!
questions... how the hell do you remove grommet and plastic thingy from stock fuel tank... and what size hole needs to be drilled in jerry can?
shorter steel bars bolted in place of front shocks, ok or nokay?
jetting changes??
progress so far.... and cost:
-remove fuel tank (harder than anticipated)
-remove oil tank (same as above!)
-remove headlight
-remove battery (which has been dead forever anyways)
-seat goneskis
-duck tape'd the fvck outa the running boards and bottom of the sled, along with front right suspension area
-duck tape'd hood and side panel vents (thinking of opening all the ones on the exhaust side back up...)
-plastics back on
-ordered... oil pump block off plate and gasket, mineral oil bottle to run premix
-oil line plugs(2), mineral oil (4L), syn chaincase oil (2 bottles), premixed antifreeze (1 jug), 8L clear jerry can. $115 from dealer :( but it was nice getting it all at once! haha
still need:
-MPEM bracket/heatshield off 440 (2003), anyone selling... let me know!
-adjust suspension in rear (crank front shock up, loosen rear spring tension)
-bring front suspension up (either mini-z shocks, or steel bars bolted in)
that's it for all.
oh, and the sled.... and pictures :D
