I don't know how it's done EXACTLY but my auto teacher said something about putting hockey pucks in somewhere to do with the struts. At least I think, because I wasn't really paying attention.
If you don't get a reply by Monday I'll ask him again, and let you know.
Of course I'll get in **** for not paying attention, but I was too involved in playing with the pistons in the shop :)

for a quick easy lift crank your front tortion bars and put some 3 inch blocks of metal between the spring and the axle, ive done it a million times on nissans but if its SFA( straight front axle ) just grab some more of those metal blocks or if your in a bind treated wood works well

im not here to make friends, hate me all you want im not leaving.

Stack two pucks and drill a whole through the center of them. Remove the body to frame mounting bolts and put two (or more) pucks between the body and frame. You'll need longer bolts when you put it back together.

Two pucks will give you about 2 inches of lift. Use more pucks for higher lift.

This will only give you a body lift, it won't do anything for your suspension. If your axles are hanging up, you'll want larger rims and tires to get the pumpkins up off the ground... of course, for that you'll need more suspension lift or body lift so that wheels/tires will fit under the body.

Not so long ago, a deranged, ranting person's audience was limited to how many people happened to be on the same street. The Internet, however, has certainly allowed "crazy" to go global...
