Here is something you don't see everyday. I bought this from a friend for a grand total of $70 a couple years ago. When I got it home I was cleaning it up and I pulled what was left of the seat off. To my surprise a 3 foot snake fell out of the foam! Scared the poop out of me! The sled had been stored in a field for several years and mice had eaten the seat so the snake went after the mice. Anyway, the motor, hood, track and most other parts are still good. The belly pan is basically junk because the hood hinge was ripped right off, and the skis were rusted away. My uncle and I are going to tear into it this summer.

These are the only pics I have of it right now. It's in several pieces and tucked away in my garage. I already have a reproduction seat and a pair of skis for it. Enjoy!

Let it snow.

Yup, it's got a 340cc liquid cooled engine. Oh yeah, she should rip pretty good!

Quote originally posted by T-dizzle

it was tight. this one time i put 89 octane instead of 87 and my sled went like 60 times faster and i could water skip because it went really fast. i recomend 89 or 91 to anyone.

Compression tests were good and it turned over, so I'd imagine it would, but I haven't tried. I tore the engine out and am going to rebuild it with my uncle this summer along with the rest of the sled.

Good Luck! It's always good to see restored or modded classic sleds on the trail!!

Old doesn't necessarily mean slow!!

Do what you can with what you got.
