Anyone else see this on tv? Buy a new Dodge, Jeep or Chrysler vehicle and gauranteed gas, diesel, or E85 price of $2.99 for 3 years up to 12,000 miles a year. Sounds like a good deal to me. I might have to think about buying a new truck instead of a used one now.
I need big jugs on my sled, cuz my girl doesn't.
For sale:

I have seen that on TV. I want to know how they are going to do that. It would pay the best to buy a diesel because it would save you the most.

It won't add up to as much money as some people think. Overall, you're looking at about $750 to $1000 in savings over the course of the three years. They also exclude certain models of vehicles which don't have the greatest fuel economy. Take a little off of the bottom line incentives and it makes up for it. It's a great concept though. It will capture the attention of those who don't like the uncertainty and fluctuations in the fuel prices these days.

^^^True. But with diesel at $4.44 and rising, and me looking at the Ram 2500 with the Cummins that get's 18 at the very best, it will add up to quite a savings. $43.50 per tank if it takes 30 gal to fill up. That's approx $966.67 a year according to my calculations.
