im looking to buy a wireless router {Will not buy another Netgear!}. My router i have now only works half the time and if it's more than 3 feet from the compouter then completly useless!!! im looking for a fast an trouble free one and money prolly wont be an issue. i have been looking at the "D-Link DIR-655", " Linksys WRT54GS ", and the "TEW-631BRP ". my biggest concer is that some of these will only work on a computer that has a fast enough processor. i will also be using the router for my nintendo wii and would like it to be compatible. right now my wii is using someone elses linsys router instead of my netgear which is 10 feet from it.

I've had very good luck with Linksys products in the past. I'd try to stick to one of these models:

CDF0/CDF1 = WRT54G v1.0
CDF2/CDF3 = WRT54G v1.1
CDF5 = WRT54G v2.0
CDF7 = WRT54G v2.2
CDF8 = WRT54G v3.0
CDF9 = WRT54G v3.1
CDFA = WRT54G v4.0
CGN0/CGN1 = WRT54GS v1.0
CGN2 = WRT54GS v1.1
CGN3 = WRT54GS v2.0
CGN4 = WRT54GS v2.1
CGN5 = WRT54GS v3.0
CGN6 = WRT54GS v4.0
CL7A = WRT54GL v1.0
CL7B = WRT54GL v1.1
CF7C = WRT54GL v1.1

Mainly, it's easier to run non-stock firmware on them which make the devices much more stable and capable of doing more, of course, if you're into that kind of thing.

I agree with above. I've had a WRT-54g for like...ever now and NEVER had a problem. Hell, I've never even had to reset it. Covers my 1800 sq ft. house just fine. When we build a newer bigger home I'll probably get a three-antenna belkin (forget model number). We use them at my work quite a bit with GREAT range.
